Pleasant Plains played their second game in two days and carried in momentum from Monday’s night victory into Tuesday’s night Sangamo battle in Auburn. The Cardinals won in straight sets 25-16, 25-21 to advance to 2-0 in conference play. Peyton Bergschneider had nine kills, Kaylee Garrett had 11 digs while Hannah Smith and Jaycee Smith both had 11 assists. Pleasant Plains will host Williamsville Thursday while Auburn hosts Routt.
