Who are the newcomers we should know about and why?
Ryan Pukacz (LB/TE) – SR. – Great leader who has worked hard this summer and put himself in a position to be a big-time contributor on both sides of the ball.
Colin Cunningham (QB) – JR. – Smart, athletic, and has a strong arm. He’s had a great summer and has the potential to do big things.
Aiden Gilbert (WR/DB) – JR. JaQuan Harris (WR/DB) – JR. & Oliver Cade (WR/DB) – JR. All three have a lot of skill and will be first time varsity contributors. Could see them making plays on either side of the ball.
Declan Duley (K/P) – JR. – Declan has worked hard to become one of the top punting prospects in the nation. Kohl’s has him rated as their #1 punter in the class of 2023. He is also an excellent kicker whose skillset could have a big impact on games this fall.
Head Coach says: I’m excited to be back on the sidelines after a little hiatus. We’ve had a great summer even with the late start. I’ve been pleased with the progress we’ve made, and I am thankful for the effort of the players and families who are working to establish a new culture and make 2021 a great year for U-High football. I expect us to compete in a great conference and make a run at the post-season.
