The U-High Pioneers hosted Illinois Valley Central in a 2A regional championship game today. The Pioneers picked up the 7-2 victory. Pitcher Jake Swartz gave up two hits and struck out nine in 5 2/3 while Matthew Davenport lead the team with two RBIs. They host Macomb on Wednesday in a sectional semifinal.
