Rochester defeated U-High 26-24, 17-25, 25-16 on Thursday night to finish the CS8 schedule undefeated and secure the top spot in next week’s Central State Eight volleyball tournament. Tori Taylor stepped up big for the Rockets, along with freshman Ellie Gegen playing in place of senior Tatum Outlaw who tore her ACL in Tuesday’s three set match against Glenwood. Rochester will play Hillsboro on Saturday before starting the CS8 tourney as the top seed.
