Normal U-High hosted East Peoria to open the season and came away with a 9-5 win. Notre Dame commit Karson Bonaparte lead the team with 3 hits and 6 RBIs with two homers including a grand slam. The Pioneers start their CS8 schedule April 27th against MacArthur.
