Glenwood High School quarterback Jake Burris has played quarterback for the Titans throughout JFL and his first two years of high school. With Luke Lehnen at quarterback for the Titans the past two season, Burris excelled in the role of linebacker and left the offense to Lehnen and the rest of the older Titans. With Luke graduated, Burris has taken over the the quarterback role this season and is averaging six touchdowns, over 200 yards passing and over 160 yards rushing per game. We spoke with Burris and his offensive coordinator Trevor Lehnen about this season and his ‘new’ role.
