Trinity In Taylorville Prime Time Performer: March 22-27

Here are this week’s candidates for the Trinity Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylorville Prime Time Performer.

Daniel Siebert (Mt Pulaski Soccer) The senior signed to continue his soccer career at Lakeland University last week and has had a great start to the season. In three games he has scored 7 goals for the Hilltoppers.

Aaron Weber (Jacksonville Soccer) The Crimson’s picked up two wins in their last three games and lost a close one in overtime to Springfield High. The junior had two goals and one assist against Springfield High, two more against North Mac and one against Lanphier.

Carter Formea (Springfield High Soccer) The Senators picked up a 4-3 overtime win against Jacksonville on Friday night. Formea scored all four goals on the way to that win.

Darion Miller (SHG Football) Sacred Heart Griffin picked up a shutout win over MacArthur at Ken Leonard Field on Friday night. Miller had 4 receptions including one touchdown and played in important part on the defensive including one fumble recovery.

Wade Jostes (Maroa Forsyth Football) In a 56-12 victory over Athens at home on Friday the senior went 21 for 23 with 256 passing yards with four touchdowns. He also had 64 rushing yards.

Jacob DuRocher (Rochester Football) On Saturday at Memorial Stadium the senior running back finished with six touchdowns in the Rockets 68-34 win over Springfield High. He had 24 carries and 134 yards rushing in the victory.

Isabel Hudspeth (PORTA Volleyball) From basketball to volleyball Hudspeth has earned herself another PTP nomination. In a victory over Auburn this week she had 13 kills and five blocks. On Saturday she has ten kills, nine digs and four blocks as the Lady Jays claimed the two set win over New Berlin.

Mya Hammond (Glenwood Volleyball) On Thursday the Titans hosted Springfield High where Hammond racked up seven kills, three blocks and 16 digs in a two set win.

Elle Vance (SHG Volleyball) The Cyclones picked up three wins this week. On Tuesday against Springfield High Vance had 11 kills and one block in the victory while Wednesday she finished with five kills, ten digs against Pleasant Plains.

Cam Barclay (UHigh Football) The Pioneers picked up big 49-6 win over Southeast at Hancock Stadium on Friday. Barclay threw for three touchdowns and 262 yards in the victory.
