Sophomore guard Gavin Arthalony hit a huge three, got fouled, knocked down the free throw for a four point play that gave PORTA the momentum they needed to overcome an eight point fourth quarter deficit and beat Beardstown 54-49 on Wednesday night. Junior forward Jake Shannon started the game strong and finished with a team high 14 points for the Bluejays. Beardstown’s Gloire Zambele had a game high 21 points.
