UIS was down ten with just over three minutes to play. The Prairie Stars picked up the defense and rallied to beat Quincy 76-75 on a bucket from Malea Jackson with just 1.0 second left on the clock to pick up the season opening win for UIS. Lauren Ladowski had 28 for the Prairie Stars, while Jackson added 22. Laney Lantz had 23, Sarah Nelson had 21 for the Hawks.
