After trailing 19-14 at the half, a terrific 14-0 run to start the third quarter helped Glenwood get ahead as many as ten on Carbondale in the second half, ultimately holding off the Terriers for a 45-39 sectional semifinal win. Glenwood will play East St. Louis Friday in the 3A Mt. Vernon Sectional Championship.
Luke Lehnen led all scorers with 18 points as Tyler Burris added 13 for the Titans. Davaris Macklin and James Baltz had 11 each for the Terriers.
