The Madison Trojans beat the Athens Warriors 68-43 in the 1A Jacksonville super sectional on Tuesday night led by eight three pointers, including four from senior guard Walter Bursey who finished with 20 points. Jalen and Javonnie Moore each added 17 points for the Trojans who pulled away from the Warriors in the fourth quarter for the big win and a trip to the state tournament.
Wyatt Boyer had 14 points for Athens and Sam Roat added 11.
