Two Former Williamsville Students Honored By Village Of Sherman For Saving Springfield Police Officer’s Life

Two Williamsville High School graduates from the Class of 2019 were honored at the Village of Sherman board meeting on Tuesday evening. Hunter Book and Ethan Willis were at Snap Fitness in Sherman in January when a Springfield police officer, who is also a Sherman resident, suffered a heart attack while working out. Book and Willis sprung into action performing CPR until the paramedics could arrive, saving his life. Book and Willis were presented with plaques from the Village of Sherman and the fire department.
