Down two with the game on the line in the final moments, SHG junior Sofie Lowis came up clutch. Her three gave SHG a 52-51 lead with 7.9 seconds remaining, then she came up clutch again. Lowis stole the Lanphier inbounds pass to seal the city title win for the Cyclones, scoring a game-high 25 points in the process. It is the first city title for SHG since 2010.
