Pleasant Plains had no problems in the first set as the defending champs took down Lutheran by a 25-10 score. It would seem to be a similar story early in the second set with Plains taking a 12-5 lead. The Crusaders would fight back to eventually tie the game at 21, but Plains would finish the second set strong with a 25-23 set victory.
