UIS and Drury were familiar foes as they faced off in round one of the NCAA DII Midwest Regional. It would be the Prairie Stars coming out on top once again as they held off a Drury comeback to walk it off in nice innings thanks to a Chris Mathieu fly ball that the defender couldn’t handle. UIS will continued postseason play tomorrow with a game against Wayne State Friday at noon.
