Two of the top CS8 pitchers went at it as Drew Detmers and Eddie Saner took the mound for Glenwood and Southeast in the last week of conference play. It wouldn’t be until the fifth inning for Glenwood to figure out Saner as Lucas Ryan brought home Jake Curtis to make it 1-0. Southeast would threaten Glenwood with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh but Evan Rightnowar would come up clutch with a diving double play to finish the Spartans off.
