Faith Washko tied it up at one with ten minutes to play and Grace Kuchar won it with two minutes to go. SHG beat Glenwood 2-1 on Tuesday evening at Ken Leonard Field to earn a share of the CS8 title this season.
Carlie Smith scored to give the Titans a 1-0 lead just seven minutes into the game. Glenwood missed a penalty kick chance with 15 minutes to play.
With Springfield High’s win over U-High on Tuesday as well, the Central State Title soccer title will be split between Glenwood, Springfield High and Sacred Heart-Griffin this season.
