The Bullets were looking to remain perfect in the conference and the Cardinals were looking to give Williamsville their first loss creating a three way tie for first in one of the biggest Sangamo games of the year.
Williamsville would get on the scoreboard first thanks to a Scott O’Connor RBI single in the top of the fourth. The Cardinals would have an answer to tie the game in the sixth but a two run seventh for the Bullets gave them the edge they needed on their way to a 3-1 win.
