Daleny Chumbley had dominating performance from the mound recording 11 strikeouts as the Tornadoes shut out Plains for a 7-0 win.
Tri-City would jump to and early 2-0 lead in the 1st inning but it wouldn’t be until the 7th where the Tornadoes would seal the deal. A Jordan Closs three run home run highlighted a huge inning for the Tornadoes as they would go on to win 7-0.
With the win Tri-City reached 20 wins for the 10th time in the last 11 years.
