Ryan Ess hit a two out, two run walk off single to lift Taylorville over Rochester 7-6 win in the Route 29 rivalry game on Monday afternoon.
Taylorville scored four runs in the first inning but Rochester rallied as David Yoggerst drove in a run in the top of the seventh to give Rochester a 6-5 lead.
Taylorville will host a 3A regional this year, where Rochester will likely end up.
