Glenwood was able to capitalize on two chances in the first half, both off rebounds to beat Rochester 2-1 on Tuesday evening and stay perfect in CS8 play.
Madeline Bima finished off a Hannah Wood corner kick that was loose in front of the net with 7 minutes until half and then Lauryn Martel scored on a putback from an Ella Gorrie shot on goal that was saved by Rochester keeper Mollie Morrisey who made several outstanding saves to keep the Rockets alive.
Lula Staley finished off a rebound from a Kaelee Dyer strike with 15 minutes to play to make it a 2-1 ballgame but the Rockets couldn’t rally to tie it.
