It was a low scoring affair between Athens and Pawnee as Pitchers Noah Tisdale and Jack Kratochvil both had very strong outings. A Tisdale RBI in the first would give the Warriors a lead after one inning but Pawnee would tie things up in the 4th as Kratochvil would have an RBI single of his own. The Indians would score again in the 6th off another Kratochvil RBI to take a 2-1 lead. Athens would have a runner on third in the bottom of the 7th with one out but a runner interference call on Athens would allow the Indians to get the last two outs they needed for the 2-1 win.
