Jermaine Hamlin scored nine in the first quarter, Kameron Whiteman added eight and Lincoln’s lead was 25-5 over Urbana after one. The Railsplitters never looked back with their eyes set on Southeast on Friday and went on to beat the Tigers 70-53 in the 3A Southeast sectional semfinal on Wednesday evening.
Kaden Froebe would finish with 26 to lead Lincoln as they improve to 27-4 and will play Southeast at Southeast’s Scheffler gymnasium on Friday for the 3A sectional championship and a trip to the Bank of Springfield Center on Tuesday in the Elite Eight.
