The Calvary Saints took the lead in the first possession of the 2nd half but after that Shawn Bell took the game over for state ranked Triopia as the Trojans would pull away in the 3rd quarter and cruise to a 57-39 win at the Class 1A Illini Central Regional in Mason City.
Calvary would build a lead throughout most of the first half and early 3rd quarter with their outside shooting but Triopia unleashed Shawn Bell, the school’s all-time leading scorer on the Saints in the 2nd half as Bell scored 16 of his 19 points in the 2nd half to help the #8 ranked Trojans pull away to win the Illini Central Regional Title.
