Sophomore Justin Guernsey had more points than Athens did at halftime as Pleasant Plains put a running clock on Athens for a 61-40 victory.
Guernsey had 16 at the half and finished with 25 for the Cardinals as they prepare for a 4:30 matchup with QND on Saturday afternoon at the Riverton shootout.
