Maya Fetter and Abby Ratsch led SHS on an 8-0 run to start the game, but SHG would cut it to two off a Sophie Lowis offensive board and put back. Springfield would close out the first quarter on an 8-3 run and lead 16-9 headed into the second. The Senators would extend their lead headed into the half leading SHG 37-24
SHG would trail by 11 at the end of the third but an and one to open the final quarter by Payton Vorreyer would cut the lead to 10, 49-39. SHG would cut the lead to 8 but Springfield would close out the game strong and go on to beat SHG 67-52. The Senators picked up their 6th City title in a row with the win over SHG.
