The Rochester Lady Rockets got off to the fast start but the Bloomington Central Catholic Lady Saints slowly but surely gained control and pulled away to the win, 45-33, to win the State Farm Classic Small School Girls Championship game.
Rochester got out to the early lead, but the Saints came marching back to take a 19-17 lead at halftime. Eventually the Saints pulled away lead by Lauren Shanks 18 points and 6’0 foot Bailey Coffman’s 16 points.
With the loss Rochester falls to 11-8 overall but they finished 3-1 in the State Farm Classic to finish 2nd place and gain a lot of momentum going into the New Year.
