A 15-5 run helped Thornwood take a 20-11 lead over the Senators after one quarter. The Thunderbirds would extend the lead to 20 headed into the half, 39-19. The Senators went on a small run in the 3rd to cut the lead to 18 but Thornwood controlled the rest of the game to take down Springfield, 67-40.
