Derrick Roberts dropped 10 first quarter points for Calvary as the Saints took a 17-7 lead over STL Gateway Christian Academy into the second quarter. The Saints would extend the lead to 14 as they headed into halftime.
Gateway would cut the lead to 39-36 in the third quarter thanks to multiply buckets from Justin Kirksey. Derrick Roberts and Colton Larson would help the Saints pull away in the final quarter as Calvary opened the Capital City Showcase with a 60-50 win over Gateway.
