PORTA and Illini Central were tied at 38 in the third quarter when Max May hit an and one three to give the Cougars a 42-38 lead. Illini Central would take a 49-44 lead into the fourth. The Cougars would lead by five but with just over three minutes left to play PORTA went on a run to win the game. Vaughn Toyne started the run with a layup to give the Bluejays a 54-52 lead. Gabe Carlock and Cade Privia would follow with buckets of their own to help the Bluejays get the 61-55 championship win over Illini Central.
