Karl Wright had 17 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and four steals to help Lanphier beat North Chicago 49-35 despite 32 turnovers for the Lions.
Wright had two huge dunks to get the crowd excited as Lanphier held the Warhawks to just 35 points and no player in double figures. Larry Hemingway had 12 points and six steals for the Lions, who play East St. Louis on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Cass Gym in Abe’s Round Ball Classic.
