Maroa-Forsyth’s defensive coordinator Jon Kidd decided to bring out the belt this season. The Trojans defense has been exceptional at creating turnovers so Kidd provided a “championship belt” that each player who comes up with a turnover gets to wear on the sidelines during games.
Maroa-Forsyth is 12-0 this season and headed back to the semifinals where they will play at St. Teresa on Saturday. We spoke with Coach Kidd, head coach Josh Jostes and senior Tucker Klein about the defense and their knack for turnovers.
