Wolf Brethorst scored late in the first half to give Springfield the 1-0 halftime lead over SHG. With eleven minutes remaining in the second half, Brethorst scored again as he headed home a corner kick from Max Thuma. That would be the final as SHS would beat SHG 2-0.
