Sure, SHG volleyball lost some big pieces from last season, but don’t tell Abby Madonia or Darby Moore that. The Cyclones picked up right where they left off in their dominant ways Monday night, taking care of Lincoln in straight sets.
After a relatively easy 25-11 opening set, Lincoln fought back hard in the second to try and force a third, but ultimately SHG squeaked out the second set 26-24 on their way to a season-opening win as they gear up for CS8 foe (and third place at state in 3A last season) U-High Tuesday night.
