Chris Cuppini didn’t finish Tuesday’s game, but the six plus innings he posted to start it were more than enough. Cuppini allowed just two hits and no runs while striking out nine against a potent Rochester lineup in a 2-0 U-High win. The Pioneers pulled even in the loss column with the Rockets atop the CS8 standings. U-High is one game behind in the win column because of a postponed game against Lanphier that will be made up on Friday.
