Cole Greer is no longer in the Pleasant Plains baseball lineup. That means we have to find someone else to interview after almost every game and the Cardinals have to find new leaders. Head coach Dave Greer is confident his senior pitchers Giuseppe Mattera, TJ Painter and Bryant Williams can do just that, along with the young guns that power the offense like Joel Niermann and Corgan Greer. It’s been four years since Plains made the trip to the state tournament and these Cardinals are confident they have what it takes to get back there.
