Lanphier lost twice to Southeast this season, but they also owned perfect 2-0 records against MacArthur and Glenwood, who each beat the Spartans earlier in the year. The second of those Lanphier wins over the Titans came on Friday in a 59-41 Lions victory and as a result, the north side and east side will share the Central State 8 conference crown this season.
Not that that’s the ultimate goal for either of these state ranked teams.
Karl Wright led the Lions with 16 points and six rebounds. Luke Lehnan led all scorers with 24 points including a 6-for-10 effort from three-point range.
