Luke Coultas scored just two points all night against Athens in the Waverly Holiday Tournament championship. Those two came with four seconds to play and West Central beat Athens 46-44 to stay undefeated on the season.
Garrett Reichert scored 19 points for Athens, a game high, but Derrick Montgomery was the offense for the Cougars in the fourth quarter who took a 10-0 lead to start the game and didn’t let Athens score for the first six minutes.
