Williamsville moved one step closer to winning their 24th annual Holiday Tournament for the first time by outlasting a pesky Sangamo rival PORTA, 56-44.
Joseph Mitchell lead a balanced scoring attack for the Bullets with 13 points while Scott O’Connor and Casey Tuttle both added 12 for Williamsville. Christopher Nicholas lead all scorers with 14 for PORTA as the Bluejays cut Williamsville’s 15 point lead down to 8 in the 4th quarter but the Bullets defense thwarted every PORTA advance to earn the win.
Williamsville will look to win their Holiday Tournament for the first time tomorrow night when they battle Peoria Quest for the title.
