We checked in on Day Two at Abe’s Rumble to see PORTA wrestling beat El Paso Gridley and guarantee themselves at least eighth place in the tournament after losing to Prairie Central in the quarterfinals. Auburn fell to Reed Custer, but Caleb Nix continues to win.
PORTA’s Trey Hild took two forfeit victories, Wille Heikes surpassed the 100 career victory milestone and Joe Burris won both matches we saw for the Bluejays.
