Lanphier overcame a shaky first half to dominate the second and win comfortably in the opening night of the Pekin Insurance Holiday Tournament 64-40. Sound familiar? It’s basically what Lanphier has done all season. Struggle out of the gate, remember who they are, and then proceed to win convincingly. Luckily for them the Pekin Tournament is a good chance for them to work out the kinks before the hit the stretch run of the CS8 schedule.
Cardell McGee finished with 23 for the Lions. Liam McDonagh led the Caravan with 12. Next up the Lions play tomorrow afternoon at 2:15 in the last quarterfinal game.
