Will Hanlon hit a three and a layup to give Glenwood a 36-30 lead with 1:15 to go in the game, but Metamora’s Collin Dietz responded with a three and Payton Havens scored back to back layups, including one with just five seconds remaining, to give Metamora a stunning 37-36 win over Glenwood in an opening round matchup of the State Farm Holiday Classic.
Dietz led all scorers with 15 points while Havens added 11 for the Redbirds. Will Hanlon led the Titans with 13 in the loss.
