For the second time in four days, Williamsville needed extra time to secure a road win against one of the top teams in the Sangamo Conference. On Friday, that extra time just happened to consist of an entire extra half of basketball. Williamsville survived a four overtime struggle to beat rival Pleasant Plains 72-70.
Casey Tuttle and Hayden Moore each poured in 18 points for the Bullets and Scott O’Conner added 14 for Williamsville. Nick Savage scored a game high 19 and Gage Bartos and Joel Niermann added 15 and 14 respectively in the loss for Pleasant Plains.
