Cardell McGee scored 20 points while grabbing seven rebounds and racking up seven assists in a 78-28 Lanphier win over Chicago Brooks in the first round of the Adam Lopez Thanksgiving Tournament on Tuesday. Junior Karl Wright flirted with a triple double as well, posting an eight point, eight rebound and seven block effort.
Lanphier advances to Friday’s semifinal where they’ll play Peoria Manual who beat Cardinal Ritter 53-46 in the first game of the night.
