Pleasant Plains completed a season sweep of Auburn on Thursday, defeating the Trojans for the fourth time this year with a 25-8, 25-20 win to clinch the 2A Winchester Regional championship. The Cardinals advance to next week’s 2A New Berlin Sectional where they’ll face Maroa-Forsyth, a team they’ve lost to twice this season.
