Williamsville shutout Athens 28-0 on Friday to secure a perfect run through the regular season and an outright Sangamo title. It’s the first time the Bullets have locked up sole possession of the conference crown since 2014. Williamsville finished as the 3A runner up that year.
Joe Mitchell caught a pair of touchdown passes from Justice Ferrier and Grant Ripperda rushed for two more scores in the Bullets win.
