Touchdown runs by Danny McCloud for New Berlin and Nik Samson for Pleasant Plains had the score tied at 7-7 after the first quarter. The halftime score was tied at 14-14 after touchdown passes from Casey Bixby and Ben Reinert.
After a safety by the Cardinals defense, Kai Carlberg returned the kickoff to make the score 23-14 Pleasant Plains. A Pretzel turnover led to another Carlberg touchdown putting Plains up 30-14 in the third. Hunter Stockton caught a touchdown to make the score an eight point game but Nik Samson put the game away for the Cardinals after a fourth quarter touchdown run making the final score 37-22 Pleasant Plains.
