Rochester took advantage of MacArthur turnovers and ran away from the Generals in the second half for a 56-14 victory in a battle of the final two undefeated teams in the CS8. The Rockets displayed their ability to run the ball along with Nic Baker’s ability to find his multiple receivers as Zach Gleeson scored three times on the ground while Nick Capriotti added another. Baker found Eddington for two scores and Mikey McNicholas for another, while also rushing for a touchdown.
Jeffrey Wells scored first for the Generals from two yards out in the first quarter and then Amir Brummett found Armon Brummett for a 58 yard score to make it a six point game with three minutes until half.
Rochester moves to 6-0 and will host SHG in Week 7 for Leonard Bowl VIII, while MacArthur (5-1) heads back home to host Southeast.
