Kelby Phillips really wanted to beat Glenwood his senior season. The Senators forward scored all three of his team’s goals, including the game winner in overtime as Springfield High beat Glenwood 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
Phillips put SHS up 1-0 at the half and then up 2-0 with about 32 minutes to play. The Titans got goals from Jett Gay and Darian Turner to force overtime but the Springfield senior scored on an assist from Max Thuma just two minutes into the first overtime period.
