Several former CS8 Standouts made some big plays on college footballs’s opening weekend. 2014 SHG graduate Malik Turner led Illinois with four catches for 48 yards. He helped set up the game winning score in a 24-21 win over ball state. Albert Okwuegbunam, who graduated from SHG in 2016, caught a pair of passes for 51 yards including a 27 yard touchdown in Missouri’s 72-43 win over Missouri State. And Rochester 2017 graduate Avante Cox carried once for nine yards and caught a 14 yard reception for Wyoming who lost to Iowa 24-3.
